The breakfast I had was delicious with local foods and nice products and hot meals cooked to order. The hotel's location was central, right on the shoreline. Moreover, it's next to lake as well as the restaurant. Nothing too much trouble, the venue met the purpose.

Lovely building and rooms on a plus breakfast. Particularly good location for our visit to Hayes Garden World Ambleside at a moderate distance from the hotel. Free parking on-site provided.
Awful breakfast.

Stayed at the waterhead for 2 nights in a superior room with a view. The location was excellent, just a short stroll from the lakeshore. The room was lovely, and a standout moment was when a staff member, rhys, surprised us with prosecco after my proposal. His attention to detail.
i do recommend.

The food was very good, room was also good, sTAFF were very HeLPFUL and friendly.
Sreeaming children in the restaurant in the evening, there was a great clash between the ambience of the restaurant with excellent food and very good service and good decor and lighting and these screaming children, with buggies being pushed through. Ask children under 5 to eat between 6.30 and 7.15pm and ban buggies. Music left on overnight in bar area.

We stayed at the Waterhead to celebrate our Golden wedding anniversary. It was our first return visit ad we were impressed with everything about the hotel. The rooms were amazing, and we were well looked after by all the staff. We could only stay for one night, but it was an experience not to be forgotten.
As above.
Nothing to complain about.

Fine views and a beautifully decorated room. The breakfast offered a great selection, especially enjoyed the yogurt. On-site parking was a challenge, and the bar could get quite busy during evenings. A good escape amidst beautiful scenery with wonderful dining experiences.
